Could you help students hone their interview skills?
Thomas Hardye School is holding Interview Skills Days on 17th and 18th July (8.30-3.30pm) to help their students prepare for leaving school and need at least 20 volunteers to support the process.
This has meant in previous years that interviewers meet three students an hour (15 in a day) for a 15 min relaxed interview. Students prepare a short personal statement and present this to the interviewer who then interviews the student about their interests, activities and achievements. It aims to be a celebration of what the student has to offer and not an interrogation for a specific job.
