Weymouth and Kingston Maurward College has hit the ground running following its recent merger – receiving a ‘Good’ rating in all eight categories of its first Ofsted inspection as a merged institution.
Weymouth & Kingston Maurward College (WKMC), a leading Further Education provider with campuses on the stunning Jurassic Coast and a historic estate near Dorchester, has launched a campaign to find a new Director of Governance.
The official merger of Weymouth College and Kingston Maurward College took place on 1st August and marks the start of an exciting new chapter in Dorset’s further education offer.
The newly formed ‘Weymouth and Kingston Maurward College’ promises to bring enhanced opportunities and improved educational experiences to students and employers across the region.
Wednesday 15 May 2024 saw the formal opening of University Centre Kingston Maurward, with the ‘cutting of the ribbon’ carried out by television’s Countryfile presenter, Adam Henson.
