Thomas Hardye School recently received a grant to build a new dining room with an outdoor seated balcony area overlooking Maiden Castle with seating for 450 people. The grant covers the building work but not the furnishings, which is estimated will cost another £80,000.
To showcase the facility, they are holding a black-tie ball on Saturday 6th July with a live band, 80s disco provided by Wessex FM, sit-down meal, an auction and a raffle.
Members are invited to support the school by sponsoring a table, donating a prize for the auction or the raffle, or by purchasing tickets for the evening:
- Sponsorship of a table is £500 this will ensure your business is marketed at the event, in the programme, on the school website and in any media coverage with local press, radio and magazines. A permanent plaque on each table will also provide recognition of your support for the school. Sponsors should contact Mike Foley (headteacher) directly –
- The donation of a prize/event/experience to offer as an auction or raffle prize: please contact Laura Cheney (assistant headteacher) –
Tickets can be purchased from the school’s main reception. Sponsors will be able to purchase up to eight tickets at £50 per person with a 10% reduction.
