From Monday the 23rd to Saturday the 28th October Shire Hall Museum in Dorchester will become home to spooky family-friendly fun for the ultimate Halloween themed visit.
Based in Dorchester, Shire Hall Museum brings over 200 years of justice and injustice to life. With interactive galleries, immersive cells and the impressive courtroom, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the museum.
Children will be able make slippery slime from 10am to 3pm each day. Around the Museum, families can enjoy the spooky trail and creepy crafts. Plus, children dressed up for Halloween get FREE entry* to Shire Hall Museum! There’s no need to book in advance to visit Shire Hall Museum this Halloween half-term!
There will also be a selection of Halloween themed treats and autumnal drinks available in the café. With a delicious selection of fresh, locally-produced food, Shire Hall’s airy mezzanine café is a must visit.
Alongside its family friendly events, Shire Hall is hosting Spells in the Cells, an evening of magical cocktail making on Friday 22nd October. Taking place in Shire Hall’s historic cells, visitors will be able to make their own transfiguration tonic and cauldron cocktails.
