Our Centenary Year has certainly been a busy one. The garden party at Athelhampton House & Garden was a truly memorable occasion and the Centenary lunch and tree planting at Kingston Maurward was equally as special. Our AGM at the Town Hall in the Corn Exchange was well attended and much thanks to Alistair Chisholm for the spooky and knowledgable Ghost Walk afterwards. We will round off the year with our President’s breakfast in December at Minterne House & Gardens.
Our October Meet the Neighbours breakfast with Yeovil and Sherborne Chambers of Commerce was another successful event held at the George Albert Hotel, near Evershot. Members have requested we hold more of these collaborative events. We have listened, and will be having another one in March 2017.
Thanks to all venues for their support. Dorchester is lucky to have such special venues available for celebrations, and the events teams at each location were all very professional and lovely to deal with. Highly recommended!
