Don’t miss our special February breakfast and prize draw
We will be launching our Retain Campaign at the February breakfast at Carluccios on 14th February 2017, from 7.45am to 9am.
The aim of Retain will be to help local businesses recruit and retain employees from the pool of talented students as they leave education and encourage them to stay and work to make the town prosper.
Prize draw and members’ survey
As its Valentines Day, the morning will be themed around `Love Dorchester’. Carluccios has generously donated a Hamper of Valentine’s goodies for our prize draw, to be drawn at the breakfast.
Please complete the membership survey to be entered into the draw. Printed copies will be available to complete at the breakfast. To be entered into the Prize Draw, online entries need to be received by 5pm on Monday, 13th February 2017. Carluccios has also donated a meal for 2 with a bottle of wine to be raffled at the event so please bring cash with you. Tickets will be £5 a ticket … and one lucky winner will get a surprise treat to share with a loved one. The money raised will be given to the Dorchester Opportunity Group in addition to the £650 raised at the President’s breakfast. Nyree Gibbs, Manager, will be attending the breakfast to receive the cheque.
The Dorchester Opportunity Group is a Pre-school facility for children with additional needs. All children at the group are referred by professionals from health, education or children’s services where specialist input and support given at an early stage in the child’s development could prove beneficial. Some of these children are severely challenged and the group has an amazing success rate in supporting their needs. Sadly facing cuts to funding, the group faces closure if sufficient funds cannot be found this year.
