Today’s featured charity for November Good Causes is another member, Julia’s House, a hospice for children with life-limiting, life-threatening or terminal conditions. Julia’s House is not a typical children’s hospice. They provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a sick child, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at their hospices.
With another lockdown affecting work, rest and play we are probably all feeling in need of a bit of extra care this Christmas. The families we look after at Julia’s House are used to feeling anxiety and uncertainty for the future. That’s why it means so much that, despite the difficulties we have all faced this year, the Dorset community continue to support Julia’s House, so we can continue to be there for families when they need us the most.
