Julia’s House Children’s Hospice has announced a silent auction to raise funds for the Dorset and Wiltshire-based charity.
They point out that for isolated and overwhelmed families caring for a seriously ill child, the COVID-19 outbreak meant that for many, the Julia’s House care team were the only support service still there for them and that by taking part in the auction, you can make a difference to families caring round-the-clock for children with life-limiting conditions in Dorset and Wiltshire.
The charity receives 5% government funding in Dorset so substantial public support is crucial to providing this local service.
Items range from dinner for two at a Michelin starred restaurant through to a walk-on part in the TV show, Doc Martin.
