Sandy Jordan, of Jordan’s Jewellers and Executive Committee Member of Dorchester Chamber for Business, is taking part in The British Heart Foundation’s MyMarathon – taking on the challenge of running 26.2 miles throughout May.
The challenge allows those taking part to be able to do this in any way and format. Admitting she is “not a runner”, Sandy says she is getting up early each day and running around two miles before work to raise money for the charity, which is very close to her heart.
“My lovely mother died of a stroke 17 years ago and it feels like it was yesterday and I still miss her so much. It would be great to have your support in helping me to raise some money to give to this very worthy cause.”
