Mark Bartlett from the Dorchester Trust for Counselling & Psychotherapy gave an overview of the benefits of counselling. He particularly recommended the Counselling Directory for anyone wishing to speak to a trained professional.
Claire Meyer from Meyer’s Estate Agents explained the growth of the GAP Project, its collaboration with Dorset MIND, the benefits of Eco-Therapy and exciting news of a new plot of land made available just before Christmas.
And Julia Calleja from Live Well Dorset shared five steps to wellbeing in just under 10 minutes – some feat! Julia told us that Live Well Dorset is a useful referral resource for employee wellbeing. In addition, they provide free listings for wellbeing events which can be uploaded here.
Thanks to the generosity of its members, Dorchester Chamber has recently been able to donate money to Damers First School for the children to create a ‘Garden Of Hope’, using garden therapy to tell their story of Covid.
