A fantastic turnout by Dorchester Chamber members for our first spring breakfast of the year hosted by The Sun Inn of Lower Burton, which provided a sumptuous breakfast.
Martin Hamilton, Strategic Director for Dorset Councils Partnership, gave an informative talk about the proposed developments planned for Dorchester over the next few years, outlining how the town could look in the future along with some of the challenges it will face.
Paul Nathanson from the Dorchester Opportunity Group and Simon Pearson from the Dorset County Hospital Charity came to acknowledge receipt of £250 to each charity, raised from the raffle at the President’s breakfast last Christmas. Those attended each received a raffle ticket to win the unclaimed prizes generously donated by members.
Many thanks to our sponsors, Successful Women in Business Network (SWIB). Gill Donnell MBE, founder of SWIB told members about the launch of their first Successful Women Awards to celebrate and showcase the work and businesses of Successful Women across the South West.
