Hatty Fawcett of Focused For Business will provide a no nonsense introduction to crowdfunding, explaining what it is and introducing the main crowdfunding platforms. She will also provide practical tips for crowdfunding success.
Hatty raised almost £250,000 for her own business venture through crowdfunding and angel investment. She learnt the hard way what it takes to raise investment and now supports businesses looking to grow through alternative finance, particularly angel investment and crowdfunding. Hatty is a Regional Manager for Angels Den (the nationwide angel network and crowdfunding platform) and a Talent Spotter for The Start-up Funding Club so she is always on the look out for good businesses seeking to grow through investment. She runs (free) monthly Funding Clinics in Poole specifically designed to help Dorset businesses gain practical, tailored advice on their funding options.
