Chief executive, Ian Girling has written to the Tory leader congratulating him and inviting the new PM to meet business leaders in the county.
“We expect to see business-friendly policies put in place to support growth and recognition of the valuable contribution business makes to the economy and society,” said Ian. “The Chamber has seen a slowdown at a national level, so hopefully the new Government will be able to kickstart the economy. I have written to the new Prime Minister, inviting him to visit the business community in Dorset to help him understand the concerns of business first hand.”
Dorset Chamber is the only chamber in Dorset accredited to the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). As the county’s leading business support organisation, it has been helping firms concerned about Brexit.
