Dorchester Town Council has announced the date for this year’s Informal Annual Town Meeting being held at the Corn Exchange on Friday 9 May from 11am-1pm.
It will be a chance to meet your local Dorchester Town Councillors and hear more about the work of the Dorchester Town Council over the previous year.
Take the opportunity to see how your local democracy is working for you, and tell Councillors what you think should be priorities for the town over the coming year. This is also the last chance to comment on the Town Councils’ draft 2025-29 Corporate Plan and help shape our future.
Partners from local voluntary organisations will also be attending to showcase some of the brilliant projects they have been carrying out.
“We are pleased to be hosting our fourth informal Annual Town Meeting and would like to invite all local residents to come along and speak with their local Councillors and meet with some of the great community organisations we support in the town. We will be presenting formal reports at noon about the work the Town Council has been involved with over the last year, so this is also a good opportunity to find out how your Council has been working for you”
This is a free drop in event, and refreshments will be served.
