Want a preview of Dorchester’s future? Then don’t miss the public engagement event at South Walks House, the District Council offices in Dorchester on Tuesday 26th September.
The event will give business owners and residents an opportunity to have an informal chat with those leading this exciting project, as well as view a presentation of the proposals, which will run twice – once at 5:30pm and again at 7pm.
Dorchester has seen many changes throughout its history. It now has an exciting opportunity to transform again to become a vibrant 21st Century retail and cultural centre for Dorset and beyond.
“Our aim is for Dorchester to become a destination town. People can enjoy a rich variety of cultural, retail and leisure experiences,” said a council spokesperson, adding that the council is also exploring other development opportunities.
“These will compliment the exciting cultural additions to our county town. We all have a stake in Dorchester’s future. Come along and learn more about our suggested approach.”
